Well written.

The comments like "nobody wants to see me because I'm not pretty" or "nobody wants to see a man naked" illustrate a big part of the problem to my mind.

If I'm naked, I'm not doing it because I think you want to see it. I'm doing it because it's what I want, not to please someone else. If they don't like it, they don't have to look. If it's done in such a way that it's not possible for them to avoid it then it's being done wrong.

Gender shouldn't make any difference really. We all know what a body of any gender looks like. We all know there is a high degree of difference in every body. We're all unique and that's awesome.

Being able to recognise that nudity in itself is not sexual and separate that from sexual activities is essential. Until everyone understands that and everyone is accepting of their own bodies and others I don't see a change happening.

I'm not a "pretty" guy. I've got a bit more fat than I'd like and so on but I enjoy being naked because it makes me feel better. I'm not doing it to please or displease anyone other than my own self and also expect the same from others.
