Welcome to the Linux world. I've been using it on and off since it was created and have seen it evolve over those years into what it is today. If you can handle not being able to run the adobe suite and some other commercial software then I think you'll find it a great experience.

There are of course great alternatives to Lightroom which will run well and give you even more power (such as Darktable or RawTherapee) and whilst there will be a learning curve with all of this it's certainly possible to ditch Windows completely in my opinion.

I've been using Fedora Linux primarily on my desktop and laptop computer for years now and when I do have to use a Windows computer I find it is the one that is frustrating and requires Google to help. (For instance, I couldn't find how to change the Windows 11 timezone setting the other day.)

Anyway. I do hope you enjoy it and stick with it. I look forward to reading more on your experience with it.
