There is a type of app that exists on all our “devices”. An underrated app that quite often is just there by default and users will just use it without consideration or change.
Yet despite being this reasonably low key app that is installed by default, it is also quite often an app that is used more than most others. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that it is potentially the most powerful app on your device.
The web browser.
If you stop and think about it for a bit. Is there anything a web browser can’t do?
Office / Accounting
Sure. There are a number of browser based office suites. Microsoft Office (Office 365) or Google Docs or Zoho Office Suite. The popular accounting systems are very much online based these days too. MYOB and Xero are perhaps the most well known, but there is a hoard of others as well.
Music
Spotify of course. Sure, you’ve got the app for it, but even if you didn’t you can log in with your web browser and play your playlists just the same there.
Videos / Movies
Netflix is the obvious one. That and YouTube. There are plenty of video streaming services to choose from. (Too many if you ask me). Most if not all will…
