As we become more aware of the need for climate change and how years of manufacturing and pollution has potentially damaged our planets climate we have begun to look at cleaner alternatives to current vehicles.

A majority of vehicles currently on our roads are using internal combustion engines that burn diesel or gasoline. You’ve probably got one in the garage or on your driveway right now. Most of us accept them as a necessary tool for daily lives and don’t really consider the climate impact that these vehicles have. It’s beyond just the pollution they emit from burning the fuel they use, it’s the pollution of all the heavy equipment used to get and refine the fuel in the first place. It’s the pollution caused by the manufacture of the vehicles.

All around the world countries are looking to move toward electric vehicles as a solution to the climate challenges of internal combustion engine vehicles. Many say that electric vehicles are the future, with some countries at least having committed to only producing electric vehicles in the near future.

So it certainly looks as though the world considers electric vehicles to be the future of personal transportation. There is still concerns with the production of electric vehicles with many saying that the overall pollution is just as much or more due to the manufacturing of the vehicles.
