Thanks for a great reply. I think you've hit the nail on the head with it. I have only shot two or three weddings, they've all been pretty low key events but even with a digital camera and being able to see I've got the shots it's stressful right up till delivery (and the customers reaction). I'd hate to try and do it using film and having to hope you got the shot but never really knowing until the film is developed.

I have just purchased a couple of rolls of film and given my old pentax a cleanup. I intend to take it out soon and take some shots with it. I'm doing it for nostalgia reasons probably more than anything and certainly not for anything professional. I admit I am interested to try it again and see the results, but it's not something I am going to get back into I don't think. It might help me remember what it was like and hopefully prompt me to be a little more careful when shooting digital in the future by remembering some of those film lessons.

It might be a terrible experience as well. My old camera might leak light these days after years of sitting on shelves and in cupboards collecting dust. Who knows.
