Silver moonlight streamed through the open windows of the spacious bedchamber throwing beams of silver light across the room that caught specs of dust and made them glow like sparks of magic in the air. No sound could be heard that gave away her footsteps as she crossed the room with her bare feet seemingly gliding softly over the stone floor toward the window. The soft silver light fell on her skin which was nearly as pale as the sheer white night dress that was falling off her shoulders as she walked. Had anyone else been awake and in the room to see they might have thought it the ghost of a fair maiden that walked the halls of the ruined castle this night.
The silver moonlight lit her pale face and her light blue eyes seemed to glow of their own accord. Silver hair fell in curls over her pointed ears and shoulders that continued halfway down her back and her slender frame hid well the strength her elven race afforded her. As she walked the slender nigh dress fell from her shoulders exposing her body to the cool night air and she continued to walk leaving the dress where it fell. Despite the cold her skin showed no evidence she felt it, except perhaps for the erect nipples on her small breasts.
She stopped by the window, staring out over the crumbling castle walls and the forest beyond that. In the distance a wolf howled a long drawn out and woeful sounding howl and as if in response the soulful hoots of and owl rang out somewhere just beyond the broken walls.
