A walk in the woods

In dappled shades, where secrets lie,
Where sunbeams dance beneath the sky,
There lies a world, serene and fair,
Where whispers echo through the air.

Amidst the trees, tall guardians stand,
Their leafy branches, reaching grand,
They tell the tales of countless years,
As whispers echo, calming fears.

The forest floor, a carpet green,
With each step, a hidden scene,
Soft moss and ferns, a gentle sway,
Nature’s orchestra in woodland ballet.

The scent of earth, so rich and pure,
Fills my lungs, my spirit sure,
With every breath, a deep release,
As nature’s wonders find their peace.

Through tangled paths, I make my way,
To where the light breaks through the fray,
And there I find a hidden nook,
Where birdsong sings from every rook.

Oh, the joy of walking in the woods,
A balm for weary souls it should,
To lose oneself in nature’s grace,
And find serenity in this sacred place.

So let us wander, you and I,
Where nature’s beauty’s never shy,
For in the woods, we’ll always find,
A blissful peace, to ease our mind.
