It's for this very reason that I have been pondering over and researching options for a small lightweight mirrorless camera that I can keep in a pocket or something like that.

So often I do find myself in a situation where I see a potentially good composition that I'd like to capture and I don't have a camera with me.

I could attempt to use my mobile phone and in fact have at times, but my $150 mobile phone tends to result in a quality of photo that leaves me wondering why I bothered.

For less than the cost of a "good" phone, I can probably buy a decent compact camera that will fit the bill perfectly.
