I purchased a monopod a while back thinking I'd use it a lot but I found it to be awkward and in many cases slower to switch from supported to handheld than my tripod.
But I hadn't considered it like this. The use of a rifle rest on it is a great idea and I'm certainly going to give this a go. Thanks for sharing.
